Joinery Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings and installation drawings for joinery works.
Develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed joinery drawings.
Prepare drawings for doors, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall panelling, counters, furniture and bespoke joinery.
Coordinate drawings with architectural, MEP and interior design requirements.
Incorporate site measurements and actual site conditions into drawings.
Prepare cutting/fabrication details, material specifications and hardware details where required.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Designers, Production, Procurement and Site Teams.
Revise drawings based on client/consultant comments and site requirements.
Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with approved designs and project specifications.
Issue approved drawings to production and site teams with proper revision control.
Conduct drawing checks before submission to avoid fabrication and installation errors.
Assist the production team with technical clarification during manufacturing.
Maintain proper documentation and drawing registers.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Joinery or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant experience in joinery/interior fit-out drafting.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is essential.
Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit or other drafting/design software will be an advantage.
Good understanding of joinery materials, construction methods, hardware and finishing.
Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings.
Strong knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, levels and construction details.
UAE/GCC joinery or fit-out experience preferred.

Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, commercial interiors and bespoke joinery projects will be highly valued.
