Maptalent are looking for a Junior Recruiter to join our Oil & Energy division. The Junior Recruiter will focus in the areas of candidate talent search and placement, as well as talent acquisition process improvement. This is a full time position located in our head office based in JLT, Dubai.

The role: Source and screen new talent under the direction of our Talent Acquisition leadership team and partner with our Hiring Managers and to understand and drive talent attraction and achieve hiring needs. Attract talent in a way that creates a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Resource Management, Hiring Managers) to fill critical roles for the company.

Required experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of agency recruiting experience. Experience in screening talent – prefer experience within Oil & gas recruitment but other technical sectors considered. Experiencing managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships. Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives – prefer experience with LinkedIn or other sourcing tools such as job boards. Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools and complex spreadsheets. Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer. Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills, with a keen focus on delivering business resultsSelf-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
