Learning & Development Specialist Jobs in Dubai

To support the development of our workforce, we are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist, based in Dubai, UAE, and supporting the following countries – UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, and Qatar. As our Learning & Development Specialist, you will report to the Middle East & Africa Learning & Development Manager and work closely together with local HR managers, business partners, technical trainers, and other stakeholders. As we operate within a matrix structure, you will join both our local HR-team as well as our international Center of Expertise for Learning & Development. In this role, you will contribute to KONE’s global talent strategy in a dynamic environment. About The Role
- You will support the implementation of learning and development policies, guidelines, processes, systems, and practices in KONE Middle East & Africa, so that outcomes meet current and future business needs, and develop, motivate and engage employees:
- You are the trusted advisor for all stakeholders when it comes to L&D-related topics;
- You have a good understanding of the needs of the business and can translate these needs into concrete L&D actions;
- You are always up to date on local trends in competence development and suitable learning solutions from internal and external offerings and you communicate actively throughout the organization about the available learning and development options;
- You help create a culture of continuous improvement and initiate clearly defined actions to put these ideas into practice while aligning all stakeholders involved and supporting them in the implementation of these actions throughout the organization;
- You actively develop training programs in our tool workday learning and provide training when needed;
- You are responsible for the organization of agreed local training according to the developed training plans;
- Being an experienced skills development facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering skills training to colleagues;
- You will be responsible for the submission of annual training reports, workplace skills plan, and assessor Certification requirements;
- You have experience in the learning & development area is an asset (background in HR or in business is both welcome!).
What We Expect From You
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years’ core experience in a similar role;
- Experience in facilitating various types of technical training
- You are strong in building internal and external networks and can rely on your communication skills to do so;
- You have a solid understanding of learning and development trends & practices;
- You have a strong operational approach and a hands-on mindset;
- You are fluent in English and a strong communicator and have experience in managing stakeholder meetings;
- You are familiar with managing LMS/LXP and different digital learning platforms;
- You have Project management skills;
- Awareness of capabilities needed to work in a multinational team in a global matrix organization;
- You are willing to travel across frontlines within KONE Middle East & Africa
