Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
Analyzing Problems and Finding Solutions: They use principles of physics and mathematics to analyze problems related to mechanical systems and find innovative solutions to improve performance, efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Quality Control and Assurance: They are often involved in quality control and assurance processes to ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: In industries where mechanical systems are critical, mechanical engineers may be involved in maintenance activities, as well as troubleshooting problems that arise with existing systems.
