Job Position – MEP Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

Description
• Performing Electrical Engineering related tasks through a combination of engineering and draughting from concept to IFC stages in lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, telecommunications, and other typical building low voltage and extra low voltage systems design in coordination with other disciplines.
• Performing calculations such as voltage drop, LPD, load schedules, and single line diagram.
• Coordinating of the design work between other members of the Building Services and Architectural teams.
• Review, comment and approval of electrical shop drawings & material submittals.
• Participate in engineering meetings ranging across authority , client , contractor & interdisciplinary teams.
• Create electrical design basis report , project specifications & vendors’ list.
• Responsible to deliver electrical engineering documents as per project schedule
• Lead and assist junior engineers when developing deliverables.
• Maintain up to date knowledge in the disciplines in accordance to applicable codes and standards.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
• Should possess coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.

Qualifications
• Electrical Engineer with a recognized degree from an accredited college.
• 3-5 Years of Dubai experience working within a Consultancy Firm
• Experience with AutoCAD and proper draughting methods and techniques.
• Working knowledge of industry related softwares and basic required applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Logical and analytical thinking
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Experience on LEED Project(s) is a plus

Remuneration & Benefits
• Monthly salary – AED 5000 to 6000
• All benefits as per Labour law.
