Job Position – MEP Technical Manager
Company Name – Engineering Office
To join its Engineering & Projects Division. This strategic role involves leading the technical delivery of major MEP design and construction packages across landmark infrastructure and development projects in the emirate.
Location: Dubai
Experience: 15+ Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing all technical aspects of MEP design and coordination across multidisciplinary projects.
Overseeing detailed design reviews and approvals for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
Ensuring MEP designs comply with international codes and local authority regulations (DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.).
Coordinating between consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure integrated delivery.
Managing design validation, value engineering, and technical submittal processes.
Guiding the review and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and system integration plans.
Supporting procurement processes through technical evaluations, scope reviews, and tender analysis.
Overseeing commissioning strategies, system testing, and project handover documentation.
Conducting risk assessments, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining safety and sustainability standards.
Reporting progress and technical risks to senior management and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 15+ years of experience in MEP design and project execution, including large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
Proven leadership in MEP technical management, design coordination, and project delivery.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and design tools such as HAP, Dialux, and ETAP.
In-depth knowledge of local codes (DEWA, DM, DCD) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.).
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
