Job Position – Public Relations Officer
Company Name – Concord Road Transport
To manage government-related processes, documentation, and coordination with ministries in UAE. The ideal candidate should be familiar with local regulations and able to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government authorities.
-Handle all submissions, approvals, and follow-ups related to government documentation.
-Ensure full compliance with UAE laws and regulations related to transport and logistics operations.
-Stay updated on regulatory changes, including transport restrictions, labor laws, and immigration policies, and communicate any new requirements to relevant departments.
Road & Transport Permissions
-Obtain and manage all road and transport permits across UAE emirates, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain etc.
-Process normal and special transport permissions as required for project movements.
-Visit government offices when required to expedite approvals and clearances.
-Coordinate for NOCs or other required documents for cargo movements from relevant government authorities.
-Manage documentation, submission, and follow-up for:
-CICPA / ADTS approvals and passes.
-ITC permissions.
-ODC permits for trucks and trailers.
-Police and Saaed bookings and approvals as per requirement.
Operational Coordination
-Work closely with the Operations team to understand project requirements and timelines.
-Ensure all required permit approvals are processed in advance to avoid operational delays.
-Provide regular updates to Operations and other departments on: Application status, Approvals, timeline & Delays or issues prior to project executions.
