Requirements:
Proven experience in purchasing and cost control management within the Hospitality Industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using purchasing and inventory management software.
Purchasing Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
Sourcing and selecting suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
Negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate records of purchases.
Cost Control Responsibilities:
Analyzing cost data and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Implementing cost control measures to minimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.
Conducting regular audits to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborating with department heads to develop budget plans and monitor spending against targets.
