Job Position – Quantity Surveyor
Company Name – Mawaridhi
The successful candidate should have solid Quantity Surveying and commercial experience within the UAE construction industry and be prepared to undergo a client/consultant technical interview and approval process.
Key Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
-Relevant UAE Quantity Surveying experience
-Strong experience in BOQ preparation/review and quantity take-offs
-Experience in cost estimation, cost control and commercial management
-Good knowledge of contract administration
-Experience in interim payment applications/certification
-Strong exposure to variations, claims and change orders
-Experience in final accounts and commercial reporting
-Knowledge of FIDIC Conditions of Contract is highly preferred
-Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams
-Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
-Review quantities, BOQs and project cost documentation
-Review and evaluate interim payment applications
-Assess variations, claims and change orders
-Monitor project costs and commercial performance
-Review contractor quotations and commercial submissions
-Support contract administration and commercial correspondence
-Prepare/review cost reports and forecasts
-Assist with final account review and settlement
-Coordinate with the consultant, contractor and project teams on QS and commercial matters
-Ensure compliance with project contractual requirements
