Job Position – Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Minimum 5-10 years experience Similar profile.
Qualification : Engineering in Civil
Gender : Male
Nationality : Indian
Job Responsibilities.
Prepares bill of quantities / quantity take-off which list the individual components required to conduct the project
Studies architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
Assists in the preparation of construction documents.
Reviews variations, contract changes and any other valuation issues
Assists in monitoring of quality assurance procedures and compliance.
Assists in identifying areas of overspend and waste on the project
Assesses and recommends payment to contractor during construction
Prepares monthly cash flow forecast for clients
Undertakes feasibility studies to assist in decision making about the worth of a project proceeding
Controls and maintains documents / files correspondence related to various company projects
Assists in the identification of commercial risks
Assists in liaising with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
Carries out and undertakes any other related duties as may be required and directed by Project Manager.
Provides supports for presentations to management and any other stakeholders.
Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
Measure and value the work done on site & Preparation of reports.
