Job Position – Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Administrator

Eligibility:
– Candidates must have experience working in Engineering consultancy firms within UAE.
– Candidates must be available in UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) at the project outset.
– Conduct engineering measurements for completed works.
– Assist in managing financial and contractual aspects of projects.
– Provide support on cost-related matters throughout project execution.
– Prepare and evaluate variation orders.
– Maintain and streamline cost and quantity records.
– Perform measurement procedures and calculations for interim and final quantities.
– Assess unit rates for new work items and submit for review.
– Analyse cost implications of design modifications.
– Identify and recommend value engineering opportunities.
– Participate in contractual claim evaluations and entitlement assessments.
– Provide financial guidance on contractual matters.
– Ensure comprehensive documentation and record-keeping of project data.
– Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.
– Oversee contract final cost estimates and budget compliance.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
– Minimum 6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration.
– Demonstrate a strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and other construction agreements.
– Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
