Hiring a SCRIPT WRITER for upcoming animated series
What we need:
At least 2 years’ experience writing short-form and long-form content for children (6 -12) and teens/ young adults – For animation (TV & Streaming Platforms) (Series experience is preferred.)
Must be proficient in working with Final Draft (Or Save the Cat). (The industry standard for Story & Script Development)
A clear understanding of the writing/development pipeline.
What we expect:
The writer will collaborate with the direction team, developing projects under the guidance of the Showrunner and Series Director(s).
We expect the writer to work from the ground up – Create Season (& Episodic) loglines, outlines, beat sheets, treatments alongside character descriptions, and the screenplay(s).
Additionally, follow the lead of the Showrunner and Series Director(s) on Season Arcs and individual character arcs. (Collaboration is the keyword here.)
Able to demonstrate punctuality, consistency (and professionalism) as we progress through the development pipeline.
