Job Position – Senior Accountant

An Oil & Gas Trading or Shipping
Location: Business Bay, Dubai
With robust experience in derivatives accounting, specifically within the oil & gas trading and shipping industries. This is a vital role within our finance team, and only candidates with direct exposure to commodity, freight, and financial derivatives will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and manage ERP entries for commodity, shipping, and derivatives transactions
Handle accounts receivable/payable reporting and reconciliation
Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure tax compliance
Support preparation of financial statements and audits
Process bank transactions and oversee payment execution
Maintain accuracy in hedging and derivatives-related accounting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA is a strong plus)
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in oil & gas trading, shipping, or commodities
Proven hands-on experience in derivatives accounting (e.g., swaps, forwards, futures, options)
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP Business One/HANA or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and CTRM tools (Aspect)
Eligibility Criteria:
This role requires applicants to have current residence in Western Europe or be nationals of Western European countries due to internal compliance and regional coordination needs.

Salary Offer: AED15,000 – AED25,000
