Detailed Job Description
Coordinates design/build packages to ensure they are issued in accordance with the schedule.
Recommends and implements changes in design or construction methods.
Advises project team of obvious discrepancies or trends that may be detrimental to the project.
Monitors and manages progress of the Lead Design Organization.
Review Consultant’s drawings and Specifications prior to release for construction and identifies & eliminates potential problems.
Sponsors and supports the automation development programs related to work execution.
Prepare/Reviews conceptual Studies, Systems study, Equipment Sizing, reports, proposals, value engineering studies or alternate technical concepts in accordance with Engineering Procedures and contribute to the design of the project facilities.
Develop Standard Work Process Procedures for quantity tracking and reporting.?Works with Project Controls to implement a standard quantity reporting work process.
Develops common guidelines and procedures for effective quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) programs.
Prepare and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
Support the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and job satisfaction.
Assist in on-the-job-training of assigned personnel and provide input for their performance evaluations.
