Job Position – Estimator/Senior Estimator
Department: Commercial
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Dubai
Key Responsibilities
Providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of joinery, wooden and fit-out works.
-Review Project documents, drawings & Specifications to provide accurate take – offs and cost analysis.
-Colloborate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure accurate pricing and cost management throughout the project life cycle.
-Conduct cost breakdowns for various aspects of the project.
-Decide how the tendering procedure will work, recommend tenders and conduct negotiations.
-Keep track of the project’s costs and budget.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
-Calculating the cost of materials and labor required to complete the project.
-Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
-Maintaining supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre- qualify for inclusion on tender list.
-Experience in Value Engineering to reduce the cost
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as an estimator within the UAE Interior Fit Out Industry.
Thorough understanding of UAE market rates, Materials and Supplier networks.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and Subcontractors.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools
Preference to immediate joiners and willing to relocate to Dubai.
