General Role Description:
The Senior Financial Accountant is required to lead the daily Financial activities and reporting of the emovis Qatar Road Charging Operation to the Operational Authority and for reporting of the Qatar Road Charging performance to Abertis Mobility Services as well as financial control within the Qatar operation.

Responsibilities:

• Daily tracking and reconciliation of all payments made via the payment gateways
• Daily approval and tracking of all refund requests, workflows and refund payments
• Daily liaison with all stakeholders and immediate escalation of any issues
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Preparation of weekly and monthly Road Charging Financial reports
• Presentations to stakeholders as per communications plan
• Preparation for and leading role in all Financial Audits
• Financial reporting
• Actual v Budget Analysis
• Monthly Tax reporting
• Annual Tax Returns
• Management reporting
• Ad-hoc reports & other related tasks as required
• Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
• Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Examining financial records to check for accuracy
• Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Bachelor of Commerce Degree or equivalent
• Preferably CMA, CIMA, ACCA or CA
• SAP experience is a must
• Experienced in e-commerce activities (both Mobile Application and Website payments)
• Knowledge of Payment Gateways, ideally Q-Pay and QNB MPGS
• Understanding of Qatar Central Bank policy and regulations
• Ability to analyse and report clearly
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Spreadsheet Proficiency
• Ability to Prepare Financial Presentations and present to government stakeholders
Additional Skills
• Knowledge of Qatar Ministry of Finance banking practices
• Arabic Speaker (preferred)
• English (is a must)
