Job Position – Senior ICT/ELV Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and maintain ICT and ELV systems, including firewalls, switches, routers, telecommunications, PLCs, CCTV, VMS, Access Control, Parking Management Systems, and BMS.
– Review operations and maintenance designs to ensure compliance with operational requirements and industry standards.
– Supervise ICT and ELV field activities, including patch management, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
– Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices for IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
– Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex ICT and ELV system issues.
– Review specifications, data sheets, panel drawings, and technical documentation for ICT, instrumentation, and telecommunication systems.
– Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
– Conduct periodic inspections and audits to verify compliance with contract specifications and operational requirements.
– Review and update as-built drawings and technical records related to ICT and ELV systems.
– Prepare technical reports, progress updates, performance analyses, and recommendations for system improvements.
– Support disaster recovery planning, incident response procedures, and centralized operations management.
– Utilize CAFM systems to manage maintenance activities and asset information.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
– Minimum 8-10 years of experience in ICT/ELV operations and maintenance within facilities management, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial environments.

Strong knowledge of:
– Network Infrastructure (Switching, Routing, Firewalls)
– CCTV, VMS, Access Control, and Security Systems
– PLC, SCADA, and Industrial Communication Protocols
– Telecommunications and Networking Protocols
– BMS and Intelligent Building Systems
– Parking Management Systems
– Disaster Recovery and Incident Response
– CAFM Software
– Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ICT and ELV systems.
– Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
– Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
