Job Position – Senior QA Automation Engineer
Company Name – Trimble
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and own testing strategies and processes, both functional and non-functional.
-Define and execute test cases.
-Develop and maintain automated tests.
-Produce defects reports.
-Collaborate with the product experts to review and clarify acceptance criteria.
-Coach junior QA engineers.
Skills & Experience Required:
-Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or related IT discipline or substantial professional experience.
-Minimum of 5 years experience in test automation within a software development organization.
-Experience with an automation tool such as Cypress or Selenium.
-Experience with a BDD tool like Cucumber.
-Proficiency in UI test automation.
-Proficiency in API test automation.
-Basic Java programming experience.
-Basic JavaScript programming experience.
-Experience with performance and load testing.
-Basic knowledge of database key concepts and principles, using SQL with Microsoft SQL Server or other database platforms.
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Action and results oriented.
-Very high attention to detail.
-Full professional proficiency in English.
Desirable Skills:
-Relevant postgraduate degree or QA related certifications.
-Experience with REST Assured or similar tools.
-Experience with Jmeter, Gatling or similar tools.
-Familiarity with Agile software development.
-Experience using Jira and Confluence.
