Job Position – Senior Quantity Surveyor

Road and Infrastructure

Location: RAK, New Project Al Hamra

With a strong focus on road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UAE, managing costs, and delivering value for large-scale, complex road and infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage all costs relating to road and infrastructure projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
-Minimize project costs and enhance value for money while maintaining required standards and quality.
-Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
-Prepare, negotiate, and analyze costs for tenders and contracts.
-Coordinate with site managers and planners on project progress and adjust budget projections accordingly.
-Measure and value work done on site.
-Liaise with contractors and suppliers to establish the quality and cost of materials required to complete projects.
-Use cost management tools to minimize costs and track project progress.
-Prepare detailed reports providing analysis of project progress and cost estimates.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
-Minimum of 10 years of quantity surveying experience, specifically within the road and infrastructure sector in the UAE.
-Proficiency in computer software relating to quantity surveying, cost management, and project planning.
-Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
-In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles specific to infrastructure and road industry.
-Proven track record of managing all costs concerning road and infrastructure projects.
-Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
-Fluency in English is required.
