A large organization is Hiring  for a Senior Technology Engineer – Storage Backup who play a key role in driving the engineering function within the company for the technologies he/she is responsible for.

While managing the day to day operational activities, you will be accountable for the overall delivery activities such as Design, Development, Implementation, Standardization, Automation and Capacity Planning.

You will be expected to have a T-shaped technical profile to be able to switch between multiple disciplines based on the project requirement where your core strength is coming from Vmware Virtualization Platform.

You are also expected to automate the requirements of the platform in infrastructure as code way and take accountability of the end to end solution.

Furthermore, you are expected to have discussions with Technical and Solution Architects to find optimal solution to a problem and implement it based on the infrastructure and project requirements.

Also you are encouraged not only use but also contribute into open source technologies wherever it is applicable while maintaining interoperability and functionality of the infrastructure.

You will be expected to do deep dive into various technologies and explore the capabilities to leverage.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent
• Enterprise Backup Administration in DellEMC Networker [Legato]
• At least 5-7 years of experience at a relevant technical position in large organizations with hands on automation knowledge
• BFSI Background
• Specific experience on Networker/NetBackup with DataDomain, must have understanding about the policies. review the capacity
• Must have clear understanding on Different level of backups.
• Should have troubleshooting issues in the backup products
• Must have experience in Oracle/SQL related backup configuration and agents. In general, all the DB level backups. Should understand the basics of Oracle and SQL related backups
• Must have migrated applications between the backup products in the past.
• DellEMC DataDomain Administration experience with cloud-tier.
• Storage experience with PowerMax & SAN experience with Brocade.
