Job Position – Site Engineer
Company Name –

Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise and monitor all earthworks operations on site including cutting, filling, compaction, and grading as per design levels.
– Ensure proper implementation of design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
– Conduct leveling and setting out for infrastructure and earthwork operations in coordination with the survey team.
– Coordinate with consultants and the internal technical office to resolve technical issues and ensure proper workflow.
– Monitor and verify soil conditions, compaction tests, and other geotechnical requirements with QA/QC.
– Manage resources on site including labor, machinery, and materials, ensuring their effective utilization.
– Ensure that cut-and-fill balances are maintained to reduce wastage and manage disposal or borrowing of soil.
– Assist in the preparation of daily reports, progress reports, site logs, and material usage records.
– Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
Qualification:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a strong focus on earthworks, cutting & filling.
– Previous experience working for a general contracting or civil works company is required.
– Proficient in reading and interpreting infrastructure drawings, survey data, and technical specifications.
– Familiarity with surveying instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS) and earthwork equipment.
– Strong understanding of soil types, compaction requirements, and grading techniques.
– Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
– Basic computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office) and ability to work with the technical office when required.
