Job Position – Software Engineer
Company Name – BPO
With proven experience working in the government and charity sectors in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that align with sector-specific requirements, ensuring high security, compliance, and functionality standards. Strong communication skills in Arabic and English are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions tailored to government and charity sector needs.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, analysts, and stakeholders.
– Understand and adhere to local regulations, data protection laws, and compliance frameworks.
– Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
– Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
– Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards are met.
– Create technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
– Work directly with Arabic-speaking clients and government representatives.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working on projects with government and charity organizations in Dubai.
– Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
– Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
– Experience with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
– Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy standards specific to UAE.
– Fluent in Arabic and English – both written and spoken. Preferred Skills:
– Previous experience with Dubai-based smart city or eGovernment platforms.
– Knowledge of digital identity frameworks such as UAE Pass.
– Understanding of the charity sector’s operational and technological challenges.
– Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
