Job Position – Sr. Quantity Surveyor
For a reputed contracting company.
Salary : AED 12000 -15000 + Basic Benefits
Location : Dubai, UAE
Requirements:
• Experience in Quantity take-offs for Civil & Building works for multi-storey buildings.
• Dubai Municipality Certified Engineering Professional(Mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity take-offs for civil and building works, with a focus on multi-storey buildings.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil and building works, with a focus on multi-story buildings.
• Analyse project plans and specifications to identify and quantify materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to gather pricing and cost information.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost databases and cost models.
• Evaluate and compare quotations and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to project management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in bid submissions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and construction cost fluctuations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support project goals and objectives.
