Purpose Of The Role
The main purpose of this job is to support Middle East Finance Manager to manage the Performance reporting and forecasting processes for MEKSA CLT GSC function
In This Role You Will
- Responsible for submission of the monthly GSC management packs for MEKSA cluster (clt)
- Responsible for the Rolling Forecast and plan process, including the timely reporting of the forecasts and associated analysis, (includes ensuring GSC alignment) and completing bridges
- Developing and analyzing financial reports (incl. variance analysis) for use by operational teams. Shall include COGS and cash cost bridges v/s plan/ RF monthly, variance analysis for actual costs and balance sheet items for all businesses
- Preparation and submission of various monthly reports on Operating Costs, Functional Costs and Working Capital as required by SPU
- Responsible for Monitoring GSC savings through project trackers and act as SPA for validation and confirmation of the agreed numbers and discussion and engagement with businesses from finance perspective
- Review the monthly accruals and ensure compliance to the accounting standards in MEKSA CLT
- Review the business performance and delivery of improvement around capex, sustainable working capital reduction, and other initiatives currently running in MEKSA
- Responsible for preparing costing of new products for launch or tender process and supporting the business and GSC function on the same
- Support the FM in delivering the simplification agenda for the cluster
- Coordination with diverse teams across the region
- Challenging and delivery of value addition through supply review and monthly reporting process
- Review of monthly product cost and deep dive of the PCTP to ensure accurate recovery of cost from business
We have the following requirements:
- UAE resident visa is a mandatory
- Recognized national or international professional financial management / accountancy qualification with 6 to 8 years post qualifications experience preferably ACA/ACCA/CPA/ACMA or MBA in finance with industry experience
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to balance detailed analysis and seeing the bigger picture
- Good understanding of how financial control and reporting processes and systems operate.
- Good business awareness, key performance drivers and sound financial knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities and ability to operate under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to challenge and influence through persuasion.
- Sound financial knowledge and ability to identify opportunities to simplify and streamline processes
- Sound knowledge and experience of performance management activity
- Strong knowledge and experience of key ERP, MI and reporting systems
- Supply chain experience would be an advantage
- Power BI skills will be an advantage
