Job Position – System Administrator
Company Name – Dicetek
Experience: 3-5 years
Purpose: The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and optimal functioning of critical systems for enterprise customers. The primary objectives include resolving technical issues, maintaining system performance, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
-Skillset A – Mandatory:
Virtualization: Administer VMware environments to support virtualized infrastructure.
Incident Management: Promptly address and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
Cloud Technologies: Demonstrate a basic understanding of Azure or Oracle Cloud to manage and support cloud infrastructure.
-Skillset B – System Administration (30%–70%):
Windows and Active Directory (AD): Manage and support Windows systems and Active Directory services.
Database Management: Maintain and optimize SQL databases, including backup and recovery using tools like Rubrik.
Linux Systems: Support and manage Linux-based systems.
-Skillset C – Network and Security (30%–70%):
Network Security: Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls to ensure system security.
Load Balancers: Deploy and manage F5 load balancers to optimize system performance.
Qualifications & Skills Needed:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
– Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Fortinet, VMware).
– 3–5 years of experience in system administration, database management, and network security.
– Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Location- Dubai (We are open to consider candidates who are willing to relocate)
