Job Description

Provide the necessary technical support to the team, the departments, and sections of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre to develop and improve user experiences, facilitate the use of innovative digital services, products, platforms, and solutions. Also, provide continuous support to ensure the provision of effective digital services, products, and solutions free of any potential technical problems to ensure the achievement of the goals and expectations of the department and other departments of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, and the programmes and initiatives led by the centre.

Key Responsibilities

 

Planning & Strategies

  • Contribute to the implementation of strategies and plans to develop innovative digital products and platforms that serve the initiatives and programmes led by the departments and teams of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre and serve the achievement of the strategic goals and priorities of the centre.

Provide Technical Support Services

  • Provide technical support to the departments and teams of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre to use and manage digital platforms, applications, and products regularly, facilitate their use and management in coordination with the relevant teams of the Department of Culture and Tourism.
  • Analyse technical support needs and requirements constantly, support the team in conducting technical assessments of systems, platforms, digital products, and technical support services to assist the team in developing, improving, and introducing new technical services and technologies.
  • Contribute to the testing and maintenance of platforms and applications, identifying and fixing errors and problems to ensure that products and platforms are free of any potential problems in solid cooperation with suppliers, external partners, centre teams, and the competent Department of Culture and Tourism.
  • Provide the necessary support in updating applications and digital products to ensure the provision and use of updated and sound platforms and products.
  • Develop and manage plans and schedules to update, modify, or maintain digital products and platforms, and ensure that all technical services are implemented at the specified times.
  • Provide the necessary continuous support that ensures the availability of the necessary technical equipment and resources to ensure the effective and successful implementation of all programmes and initiatives of the centre.
  • Prepare and manage questionnaires and collect information and data about the level of satisfaction of work teams, users of digital platforms, products, and services, and constantly follow up on problems and difficulties of use.
  • Support the team in monitoring and analysing the use of digital platforms and products, measure their effectiveness in achieving the goals of the departments and sections of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, contribute to identifying opportunities for developing and improving digital products and platforms.
  • Assist the team in preparing technical reports, documenting digital solutions, and provide the team with any required documents, information, or reports as needed.

  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled, consistent manner.

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement, sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction..

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Experience

 

  • Fresh graduate, 1-2 years of experience in Information Technology, Technology, Digital Transformation, or equivalent.
