Job Position – Unix & Linux Support Engineer

The ideal candidate should have a 10+ years of experience in UNIX platforms.
General Skill Sets
– Candidate with banking experience in large scale environment
– Should be able to work in fast phased environment
– Familiar and clear understanding of ITIL process
– Should be able to work after office hours and weekends
Technical Skill Sets
Security implementation of the products coming under the portfolio
Problem, Incident, escalation and change management in line with ITIL process.
Adoption of new database technologies and opensource database support
Strong Technical Skills in below solutions
– Full Exposure in IBM AIX, HPE UX, and multiple flavors of Linux
– Upgrade Planning and cross platform migration
– Basic understanding of Database and J2EE platforms
– Performing system migrations and upgrade
– Exposure to security standards like PCI-DSS and CIS baselines
– Backup Restore assistance of UNIX Platforms
– Exposure and knowledge on VIOS, VSP and VMware.
– Cloud Platforms like Azure, AWS and Private cloud stack
