Job Position – Chief Accountant
Company Name – Thomsun Group
Location: JAFZA, Dubai
Looking for a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) who will lead the finance team while also being hands-on with key accounting functions. This role is strictly open to fully qualified CAs only.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and supervise the finance & accounts team
– Handle hands-on accounting activities, including GL review, reconciliations, and month-end close
– Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements (IFRS)
– Manage UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance
– Lead internal and external audits
– Ensure strong internal controls and timely financial reporting
Requirements
– Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (mandatory)
– 6–8 years post-qualification experience
– Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and audits
– Experience with ERP / accounting systems
Preferred Experience:
– Logistics / shipping / marine / trading industry experience
– JAFZA experience will be given priority
