Job Position – Accountant
Location: Dubai
Availability: Immediate
Job Summary:
Looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with 4-5 years of experience in the property or retail market to join the team in UAE. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, possess strong accounting skills, and have a deep understanding of financial processes specific to the property or retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements, reports, and balance sheets in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Manage and maintain general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and other stakeholders.
Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Ensure tax compliance and assist in VAT filing, reporting, and audits.
Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure adherence to company policies.
Review and analyze financial transactions related to property or retail operations, ensuring correct cost allocation.
Handle day-to-day accounting activities and support senior management in financial decision-making.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, for smooth audit processes.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Key Requirements:
4-5 years of accounting experience in the property or retail market.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be available to start immediately.
