Each team will consist of a Site Supervisor Engineer, Senior Site Technician, and Site Technician.
Requirements:
Team Composition:
1x Site Supervisor Engineer
1x Senior Site Technician
1x Site Technician
Certifications:
CCNA with Cisco Tracking ID, or
Nokia Training for field teams, or
Cisco Training for field teams.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in Du IIB Project for Supervisor and Senior Technician roles.
Responsibilities:
Device Power-Up & Troubleshooting: Power up and troubleshoot CSG, SCSG, OLTs.
Dismantling: Dismantle CSG, SCSG, Pre-AGG, OLT, BDS, PE, and Core Devices from Shelters and Data Centers.
IOS Upgrades/Downgrades: Perform IOS upgrade and downgrade for Nokia CSG, Cisco CSG, Switches (Nokia, Cisco, Huawei, Arista).
Device Configuration & Troubleshooting:
Configure and troubleshoot various network devices (Nokia, Cisco, Huawei, Arista).
Troubleshoot physical links without ENR intervention.
Configure basic network setups during migrations.
Du Equipment Configuration: Configure PRI-BRI, Queue Machines, Mediatrix, Ducorp, Du Shuttle, Wi-Fi APs, HCS Devices, IPTV, UPS.
Reporting: Create Completion Reports, Survey Reports, SLDs for IIB and active sites.
Power Surveys: Calculate UPS loads in DU MDFs per FLM standards.
Microwave & Radio Devices:
Understand Huawei RTN950A and Nokia Wavence microwave devices.
Remove slots or shut down radio/microwave devices without disturbing other services after link mutation.
Field Tools:
Use OTDR, fiber traffic detectors, and power meters for reports.
Experience with CAT-6 punning tools and generating reports for DRS projects.
Knowledge:
Understand device slots, modules, and fiber optics technologies (SFP, QSFP, etc.).
Basic understanding of Du DRS Shop System operations.
Skills:
Knowledge of power systems (Vertiv, Delta, Huawei, Ericsson).
Ability to perform ATP for newly installed devices.
Familiar with safety protocols for working in Du Shelters and Data Centers.
