Job Position – BMS Supervisor
Company Name – Platinuminc Consultancy
Location – Abu Dhabi
Salary – 13000 to 14000 AED
Experience – 6 years plus in similar role
Responsibilities –
Provide expert knowledge, guidance and leadership in the development of the BMS for the projects.
• Lead and direct internal staff and contractors in the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of the BMS and any system or software upgrades.
• Identify potential systems software and hardware issues that may lead to unnecessary failure of services, thereby minimizing risk, disruption and inconvenience to building users
• Keep abreast of technical developments particularly associated with new technology in building engineering services and building management and in all aspects of the mechanical and electrical disciplines and to contribute to departmental engineering policies.
• Ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advise on technology and modifications required to improve efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure correct installation and commissioning of BMS elements ensuring that all work is completed.
• Monitor the operation of the HVAC control systems using the BMS to monitor performance.
• Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build up a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
• Adjust BMS settings and parameters to meet changing conditions (environmental, Internal Needs)
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
• Complete fault diagnosis and rectification on the whole range of BMS equipment.
• Records maintenance data and generates reports as needed.
• Train Maintenance Teams, Supervisors, the user and other staff in the operation and use of the BMS, metering systems and reporting.
Academic Background & Experience:
• Technical Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar BMS role. Technical Skills:
• BMS platform expertise (Siemens/Honeywell/Schneider/Johnson Controls/etc.).
• HVAC and MEP engineering knowledge.
• IT/networking + software integration.
• Energy efficiency & optimization techniques.
• Leadership, training, and documentation skills. Software Skills:
• Microsoft Office (word, excel, Outlook).
• WebCTRL and SCADA.
• Knowledge of CMMS.
Language Skills:
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Russian, Arabic, French and/or Hindi would be an advantage. Salary Range:
• 13,000 to 14,000 AED – Full package. Working Hours:
• 48 working hours per week.
