Job Position – Chemical Process Engineer
Company Name – The Job Hub Global
Location: Qatar
Salary: QAR 9,000 – 11,000 (All-Inclusive, based on qualifications & experience)
Contract: 24 Months (Extendable)
Work Schedule: 6 days/week | 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
-Perform detailed process engineering for onshore & offshore Oil & Gas facilities
-Prepare and review process simulations, line sizing, offshore wellhead P&IDs, Cause & Effect matrices, process philosophy documents, datasheets, and operating manuals
-Use software tools such as Aspen HYSYS and Aspen FlareNet for design and analysis
-Support Lead and Senior Process Engineers in design reviews and safety workshops
-Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy standards, Shell DEPs, API standards, and international codes
-Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals
Qualifications & Experience
-Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
-5–6 years experience in detailed engineering for Oil & Gas projects (greenfield & brownfield)
-3+ years experience in offshore brownfield modifications
-Strong knowledge of industry practices, tools, and standards (QatarEnergy / Shell DEPs / API)
-Proficient in Aspen HYSYS and Aspen FlareNet
-Hands-on experience in developing process deliverables such as datasheets, P&IDs, C&E matrices, and simulations
-Strong communication skills to interact with multi-discipline teams and clients
