Job Position – Civil Engineer – Roads & Highway

Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Roads & Highways with a solid background in infrastructure and earthworks, and strong capabilities in project planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan, coordinate, and supervise road and highway infrastructure works including earthworks, grading, subgrade preparation, and pavement construction.
– Prepare and review construction drawings, method statements, and technical specifications related to road and infrastructure projects.
– Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure activities are executed according to approved plans and timelines.
– Coordinate with survey teams for setting out, levels, and alignment verification.
– Review and monitor earthwork quantities including excavation, filling, compaction, and material utilization.
– Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs for road and earthwork projects.
– Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
– Support tender preparation and review technical submissions related to infrastructure works.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in roads, infrastructure, and earthwork projects.
– Experience in project planning and scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
– Ability to perform quantity take-offs and analyze earthwork volumes.
– Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.
