Main duties:
A Commis Chef assists Chef Instructor with following responsibilities:
- Assisting in the food preparation process
- Ordering and tracking ingredients
- Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
- Assisting Instructor before, during and after class
- Helping with deliveries and restocking
- Assisting with stock rotation and cleaning stations
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Food Safety Awards
- Minimum 12 months relevant experience
- Awareness of manual handling techniques
- Awareness of HACCP
- Experience of kitchen equipment
- Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
- Competent level of English spoken and written
