Job Position – Control System Engineer
Company Name – Mekdam Holding
Degree in Engineering in the area of specialization
8 years’ experience in DCS, Plant Shutdown System within Oil and Gas Environment. Preferrable in Plant Operation Simulator development.
Perform control system engineering activities for Projects Engineering Support Division to execute key activities ensuring that all activities comply with standardized processes and are delivered to the highest standards.
-Plan and prepare work activities during the project phase to ensure a smooth completion of planned activities.
-Ensure control system engineering activities are conducted in accordance with company regulatory requirements.
-Ensure control system engineering activities during simulator development, model acceptance test (MAT), factory acceptance test (FAT), Installation, commissioning and project close out.
-Resolve engineering issues that may arise and communicate with the Project Management Team (PMT).
-Support other engineers in complex analyses and assignments and provides expertise to ensure completion of activities within schedule.
SIMULATOR ENGINEER
Degree in Chemical engineering, Petrochemical Engineering or relevant
Minimum 10 years of working experience in process modelling and OTS using Unisim Operation, Unisim Design, Dynsim, FSIM/SCP and TRISIM.
Hands on experience in process simulation software i.e. steady state and dynamic simulation.
Knowledge of control Systems like Foxboro, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, TRICONEX and CCC control systems
Should have hands-on experience of following processes: Gas processing, Refinery, Offsite, Utilities.
-Perform software maintenance of all simulator models
-Design and implement new simulator troubleshooting training scenarios in coordination with Operation team and Instructors.
-Manage implementation of management of change in training simulator models
-Liaise with Centre of Expertise and Maintenance team to manage simulator spares.
-Liaise with Obsolescence Management team to manage simulator hardware/software obsolescence.
-Develop a broad understanding of the key techniques and applications across all installed Training Simulators.
