Job Position – Cost Engineer

Key Responsibilities
-Prepare and manage payment claims, interim payment applications, and progress payment submissions in accordance with ADNOC project requirements.
-Support the Cost Control Manager in cost monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and overall project cost control activities.
-Develop and maintain project budgets, cost baselines, cost reports, and cost control systems.
-Perform detailed cost analysis covering manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and variation costs.
-Support preparation, evaluation, and tracking of variation orders, commercial claims, and cost impact assessments.
-Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contracts, and Project Management teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
-Ensure compliance with ADNOC procedures, EPC/EPCM contract requirements, and project documentation standards.
Requirements
– bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Controls, or related discipline.
– Minimum 5+ years of experience in Cost Engineering / Cost Control within Oil & Gas EPC, EPCM, or Call-Off projects.
– Previous ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
– Strong knowledge of ADNOC interim payment procedures, payment applications, RA preparation, and claim documentation.
– Experience in cost breakdown analysis including Labour, Material, Equipment, Subcontract, and Variation Management.
– Familiarity with project cost reporting, forecasting, progress measurement, and commercial workflows.
– Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Preferred Nationalities: Jordanian, Lebanese, or Egyptian.
Female candidates are highly preferred, provided they meet the required qualifications and relevant project experience.
