Job Position – Electrical Engineer
Company Name – Fast Building
With +5 years of experience in UAE holding SEWA card mandatory and DEWA/FEWA card will be an advantage. With good communication, technical and leadership skills to join our organization. The candidate should have a very good knowledge of Electrical Systems, MEP systems and Physical layout, the principles and practices of related technical areas, and should coordinate with other technical disciplines.
Candidate should have exposure to UAE standards and local practices
Responsibilities:
-Determine methods and procedures for new or special assignments.
-Ability to act as a project manager assisting with workload planning, team management, and project management
Provide technical support to project teams and other departments as needed
-Assist in project checking for quality control on other projects or even follow up multiple projects.
-Liaise and coordinate with Authorities. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory authorities and obtain approvals as necessary.
-Liaise with clients, professional organizations, contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other designers.
-Has experience in Authorities regulations (SEWA, DEWA, FEWA, Civil Defense, Etisalat…etc.), Also, has knowledge in international standards IEEE, IES, NEC, API, ASHRAE (energy codes), NFPA, and ICC codes
-Experience with analysis and layout of electrical systems from concept to IFC design drawings including preparation and writing technical specifications and BOQ for tender packages.
-Generation of detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, schedules, and preparation of analytical reports and presentations.
-Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Coordinate with other subcontractors for the sequence of work.
Follow up with the client /consultant for copies of all documents related to the project.
Review material submittals and verify that they are abiding by client standards, specifications, and local rules, codes, and regulations
Prepare & Review all shop drawings that will be submitted to consultant/authorities and ensure that all details are included.
Conduct a site inspection to ensure that the works are carried out as per the approved shop drawings and client standards
Expert in preparing progress payment, variations, Cost Control.
