Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned to the school curriculum.
• Foster students’ creativity, literacy, and critical-thinking skills.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress.
• Support students’ wellbeing and motivation.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to departmental development and wider school initiatives.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding standards, and values.
• (Optional) Take on leadership opportunities where appropriate.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or English Language/Literature (or a related field).
• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (American curriculum preferred; British or IB also welcome).
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Professional, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Available for an immediate start and eligible to work in the UAE.
