About the job

The FM Supervisor will manage a team of skilled workers and ensure high standards are maintained.

 

Task are including but not exclusively to:

·       Conduct regular Site visits

·       Provide quotations and estimations for jobs

·       Be responsible for property maintenance including building repairs, painting, plumbing, maintenance, etc.

·       Manage, supervise and coordinate with the operations team in all aspects of work

·       Arrange and budget for the purchasing of service, supplies and equipment for use and compare costs for maximum value for money by way of securing competitive quotes.

·       Submit appropriate paperwork, invoices and reports for each job

·       Prepare facilities maintenance schedules and communicate with the Operations Manager and respective Site Managers

·       Prepare periodic reports with respect to the Facilities Management activities, work performance and achievements

·       Liaise as and when required with clients and give feedback to Operations Manager

·       Ensure upkeep and maintenance of all equipment provided to maintenance teams

·       Identify and troubleshoot potential problems on site

·       Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment for all on site teams

·       Ensure correct supervision and training is provided for all on site teams

·       Establish and maintain proper records in accordance with best practice requirements.

·       Be familiar with all heating, ventilating, mechanical and electrical equipment in each building and have a sound understanding of the purpose and general working of such equipment

·       Ensure that all Supervisors are aware of all of our safety procedures and adhere to them unfailingly.

·       Ensures that all staff are aware of the need and are trained to use, appropriate protective clothing and equipment

·       Ensure to record and report all accidents/incidents on site.

·       Bringing any safety concerns to the attention of the Operations Manager

·       Ensure that site equipment is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s Instruction and any issued method statements and risk assessments.

·       Promptly report any workplace injuries to the Operations Manager and assist with any internal and external accident investigations.

·       Ensure that all staff are aware that adherence to our Health and Safety Policies and practices are essential to this role and are a condition of employment.

·       Actively participate in facilities management meetings and training and development exercises.

·       Be responsible for routine correspondence using standard documents and templates as appropriate.

·       Report to Operations Manager in accordance with an agreed procedure, ensuring the Operations Manager is kept informed on matters relating to standards of facilities management

·       To assist in new projects tendering and pricing

 

Requirements

·       Prior UAE experience in Building Maintenance field with Valid UAE Driving License is essential

·       Bachelors Degree or Diploma in relative field

·       At least two to five years of experience in Maintenance and Supervisory roles

·       Fluent in English a must

·       Risk assessment skills required

·       Must be a good team leader who is highly motivated

·       Excellent supervisory abilities

·       Organised

·       Good interpersonal and problem solving skills

·       Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols
