Job Position – General Accountant
Company Name – Al Gebra Contracting
Responsible for managing and overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial data, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
-Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
-Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
-Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
-Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
-Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries.
-Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
-Prepare and file tax returns as required.
-Assist with internal and external audits.
-Provide support for financial analysis and reporting.
-Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
-Office environment with standard working hours.
-Must have UAE experience
