General Cashier Jobs in UAE
Currently recruiting a General Cashier / Paymaster.
The preferred candidate must be in UAE, preferably Female.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
· Collects and deposits daily cash envelope from Front Office from drop box with a witness.
· Prepares general cashier’s summary on the PC and to inform Income Auditor to update it.
· Makes payments of all petty cash reimbursements and salary advances with the approval of Department head and Cluster Finance & Business Support Director.
· Submits all general cashier’s claims to the payable section for refund.
· Makes sure the house bank is counted and the sheets to be submitted to Asst. Finance & Business Support Manager on a daily basis.
· Assists payable section in sorting out various payments to the suppliers.
· Verifies monthly attendance records received from various departments (through civil soft package) for processing salaries through the payroll system.
· Posts all deductions/additions to the payroll system.
· Ensures all the necessary approvals for attendance, overtime & financial transactions are being done in the system.
· Processes the payroll through civil soft as per the steps indicated in civil soft’s manual and the payroll should be ready by 25th of every month.
· Prints bank lists, letter and submit them for the necessary approval of the management.
· Prepares vacation payments & final payments on receipt of approved electronic transaction through the payroll system.
· Makes sure the back-up of the monthly payroll is taken on the hard disk and to keep all the copies of the report in the file.
· Makes payments of all petty cash reimbursements and salary advances with the approval of Department head and Cluster Finance & Business Support Director.

· Prepares all the payroll related JV’s and to submit them to the Financial Accountant for Opera G/L posting
· Reconciliation of accounts.
· Follow all company policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
· You should have a degree in Accounting and at least two years previous experience within a hotel.
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy is a must, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, Civil Soft and Sun system is an asset.
· Education – Minimum High School Diploma. University / College Degree is an asset
· Must have the ability to handle cash effectively and accurately
