Job Position – HSE Officer

Rig Operations
Salary: AED 5,000 + Offshore Allowance
Location: Abu Dhabi
Rotation: 42/21
Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas experience, including at least 3 years in Drilling & Workover operations.
Minimum 3 years of hands?on experience in Rig operations.
Verify compliance with the Permit?to?Work (PTW) system and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) across all rig and contractor activities.
Conduct and coordinate HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for rig crews and contractors.
Coordinate and participate in emergency response activities, including drills, to evaluate contractor emergency preparedness.
Lead and participate in incident investigation and reporting, ensuring investigations are completed to a satisfactory standard.
Identify hazards through routine inspections, audits, and site monitoring, and ensure effective risk controls are implemented.
Ensure contractors comply with Company HSEMS requirements through regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
Review contractor PTW/JSA systems, identify gaps, track corrective actions to closure, and report progress to the Company.
Monitor, analyse and record HSE statistics, trends, and KPIs to support proactive HSE planning and improvement initiatives.
Liaise with Rig Safety Officer, OIM, and contractor representatives to review HSE performance and recommend improvements, supported by regular reports.
NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory); additional HSE certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, or equivalent will be an advantage. ADNOC / ARAMCO approval is preferable.
