Job Position – HVAC Technician

Nationality: Filipino Only
Experience: 3 – 5 years of HVAC experience in Qatar
Visa Status: Freelance Visa holders
Required Documents:
– Valid Qatar ID (QID)
– Can provide NOC (Secondment from current sponsor)
Job Description (Compliant with Qatar & ASHRAE Standards):
– Install, operate, and maintain HVAC systems including split units, package units, ducted systems, VRF/VRV, and chilled water systems.
– Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on HVAC equipment in accordance with ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) and Qatari safety standards.
– Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
– Ensure HVAC installations meet local regulations (QCD, Kahramaa, Ashghal) and ASHRAE design guidelines for efficiency, ventilation, and indoor air quality.
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
– Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
– Maintain daily logs and prepare service and maintenance reports.
– Follow all HSE procedures and ensure proper use of PPE on site.
Key Skills & Competencies:
– Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and controls
– Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and BMS (Building Management Systems)
– Capable of working independently and in a team
– Ability to interpret technical documents and perform troubleshooting
– Awareness of Qatar Labor Law and safety practices
