Job Position – IP Medical Coder

Location: NMC Specialty Hospital Al Nahda, Dubai
Key Responsibilities
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG codes based on clinical documentation.
Review inpatient records for coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Identify secondary diagnoses, complications, and co-morbidities.
Ensure coding compliance with DOH guidelines and regulatory standards.
Support documentation improvement and provide coding feedback to clinical teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health Sciences or related field.
Minimum 2 years of IP Medical Coding experience.
Valid CPC (AAPC) or CCA (AHIMA) certification.
Good knowledge of DRG, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and MS Office.
Excellent English communication skills.
