Job Position – IT Maintenance Engineer
Company Name – SenseTime
Location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE
To support the daily operation and maintenance of our Image Service systems across leading theme parks and attractions in the UAE.
The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, incident response, equipment replacement, and support for new system installations and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
-Inspect and maintain cameras, servers, industrial PCs, printers, POS terminals, networking equipment, and field devices.
-Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and peripheral-device issues.
-Perform preventive maintenance and replace faulty equipment.
-Support hardware installation, system configuration, testing, and commissioning.
-Verify power, network, cabling, and infrastructure readiness.
-Maintain inspection reports, incident records, maintenance logs, and spare-parts inventory.
-Coordinate with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure system uptime and SLA compliance.
Requirements
-Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
-Minimum three years of experience in field maintenance, technical support, or system maintenance.
-Knowledge of Windows, TCP/IP networking, IP configuration, camera/CCTV systems, industrial PCs, printers, POS terminals, and basic cabling.
-Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and respond effectively during critical incidents.
-Willingness to travel between customer sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Preferred
-Valid UAE driving licence.
-Basic Linux knowledge.
-Experience in theme parks, attractions, entertainment venues, CCTV systems, smart devices, or AI-powered imaging systems.
-Familiarity with Hikvision, Dahua, or similar CCTV systems.
Working Conditions
The position requires on-site support across Yas Island and Dubai attractions. Weekend, public-holiday, and emergency support may be required depending on operational needs.
