Job Position – IT Support Engineer
Company Name – Group Imar
Hiring a highly skilled and technically strong to support our construction projects and corporate IT infrastructure in Doha, Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT support for office and site users.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems
Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues efficiently.
Manage user accounts, emails, and access controls.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, network infrastructure, and end-user systems.
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, VLANs, switches, and routers.
Implement and maintain firewall configurations (Fortinet/Cisco/Palo Alto or similar)
Set up and manage VPN access (site-to-site and remote access VPNs).
Support ERP systems, project management tools, and construction-specific applications
Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and security compliance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, ora related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT support with strong infrastructure exposure.
Hands-on experience in server administration, networking, and cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching.
Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, or equivalent, are preferred.
Experience in construction or multi-site project environments is a strong advantage.
Ability to work independently and provide on-site technical support when required
