Job Position – IT Support Engineer

This role is vital in maintaining the efficiency and security of our IT systems, ensuring seamless technology support for all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights using Windows Active Directory.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery protocols are up to date.
- Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus software, and security patches.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of internal applications and software.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and problem resolutions.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and support services when required.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or system administration (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and networking protocols.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and backup systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
