Job Position – Junior Network Security Engineer
Company Name – Cygnusit
Targeting Sri Lankan candidates who have graduated from reputed universities with strong academic performance. Engineering graduates who demonstrate strong proficiency in mathematics and physics. Preference will be given to those who have completed basic networking courses.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
· Familiarity with network hardware (Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, or similar).
· Willingness to travel to clients or remote sites if required.
· Good problem-solving and time management skills.
· Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 0–2 years of experience in a networking or IT implementation role.
· Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE4 or vendor-specific training.
