Job Position – Logistics Coordinator
Company Name – Q Steel
Location – Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, UAE
Seeking a Logistics Coordinator immediately with about 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in the steel/fabrication industry, to join our team at Phase 2, Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah, UAE.
Responsibilities:
– Plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation for inbound and outbound deliveries.
– Liaise with customers, transporters, and clearing agents to ensure timely delivery.
– Optimize logistics costs by negotiating with service providers.
– A strong urge for customer service and promptness is essential.
– Track deliveries and provide real-time updates to internal teams and clients.
Requirements:
– Age Group 25 to 30 years maximum
– About 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain (steel-related industry preferred).
– Knowledge of UAE customs procedures, Hamriyah Free Zone regulations, and HS codes will be an advantage, but not essential
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/Tally systems.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
