Job Position – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Fujairah
Salary: AED 12,000
– Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with more than 8 years of experience process plant, port facilities, or industrial maintenance environments.
– Strong background in mechanical maintenance, including rotating equipment, pumps, valves, bearings, welding works, and pipelines such as HDPE, GRE, and steel.
– Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles, including planning, scheduling, estimating job duration, and resource requirements.
– Hands?on experience using CMMS systems, preferably Maximo, Oracle or similar platforms.
– Proven experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, including readiness checks, backlog management, KPI tracking, and work order administration.
– Knowledge of mechanical engineering standards such as ANSI/HI, ABMA, AGMA, AWS, and API.
– Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform FMEA?based breakdown analysis and root cause investigations.
– Experience managing CAPEX and OPEX items, preparing technical evaluations, tender documentation, and coordinating outsourced works.
– Experience working with AMC service providers, outsourced contractors, and monitoring their performance for quality and safety compliance.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
– Familiarity with Permit?to?Work (PTW) systems, safety procedures, and multi?disciplinary coordination requirements.
– Ability to supervise third?party contractors and coordinate maintenance or project work at site.
– Training or certification in CMMS platforms such as Maximo or Oracle EAM is desirable.
– Certification in Project Management tools (such as MS Project/Planner or equivalent) is preferred.
– IOSH or equivalent safety certification is beneficial for understanding PTW and site safety compliance requirements.
– Additional training in mechanical standards, rotating equipment maintenance, or reliability engineering is considered an advantage
